PES 2018 Full Trailer Released: Also Features Usain Bolt

During E3 2017, Konami released a couple of new trailers, some interesting new gameplay details, and a brand-new gallery of screenshots for Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. You can see the trailers and gallery below, and they do a good job of showing off the next iteration of the popular football franchise, which is coming to PC and consoles next September.

The gameplay trailers give us a first proper look at this year's game, and once again licensed deals with partner clubs is looking a major part of Konami's strategy, and Dortmund, Barcelona and Liverpool are three highlighted clubs once again.

A new addition for this year, and one that feels a little out of left field is the inclusion of speed demon Usain Bolt in the MyClub part of the game. If he can kick a ball in a straight line, combined with his unparalleled speed, he could prove a handy player. Note, though, that Bolt is a pre-order incentive (or part of a day one purchase).

"I love football and have played PES for as long as I can remember - it's the best football game there is - and it's a great honour to be a part of it and its success," added Usain Bolt. "When the opportunity arose to be a player in PES 2018, it was too good to be true. Having my face and movements scanned for use in the game was a fascinating process and I hope those who pre-order the game make full use of my pace and skill!"

Konami has also unveiled a host of gameplay tweaks, including "a new strategic dribbling system offers greater close control" and "contextual shielding", as well as an overhauled lighting system. We're getting our hands on the game at E3, and will update you with our thoughts at the earliest opportunity, delving into some of the changes made.

You can take a look at the images and trailers below. PES 2018 will be available from September 14 on PC, PS3, PS4 (with PS4 Pro support), Xbox 360 and Xbox One (we're expecting Xbox One X support, but nothing has been announced as yet), and there's an online beta coming end of July.
